Jack Bakes is the creation of Sarah ‘Jack’ Jackaman. I’ve been a cake maker since childhood but after becoming vegan in 2013, I refused to give up cake eating. I set out to make bakes that were moist, light, fruity, gooey, citrusy, chocolatey and nutty but without the eggs and dairy.
With a gluten intolerant brother I decided to experiment with gluten-free flours and, after some cake casualties, Jack Bakes was born in 2015. All my bakes are always vegan and always gluten-free. No exceptions.
My intention is to enable more people to enjoy that slice of cake with friends and family.
