Jack Bakes is the creation of Sarah ‘Jack’ Jackaman. A cake maker since childhood, after becoming vegan in 2013, she continued to find ways to make cakes that were moist, light, fruity, gooey, citrusy, chocolatey and nutty but without the eggs and dairy.
With a brother who was gluten intolerant and therefore in no position to accept a slice of cake, she decided to experiment with gluten free flours. After some cake casualties, Jack Bakes was born.
Our intention is to enable more people to enjoy that slice of cake with friends and family.
